Frequently Asked Questions

Please contact us if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Coaching is about moving forward, and a great coaching relationship facilitates a 'thinking partnership' where our two brains act solely in the service of your clarity, perspectives, possibilities and outcomes.  As it's all about you, you're in charge and you will lead the dance.

You can expect: a safe and non-judgemental space created through mutual respect, honesty, trust, challenge and professionalism.

People use coaching for many reasons.  Most commonly it's either to address a particular question in which case a single session or maybe 3 or 4 may be enough.

Alternatively, some people are looking for an external thinking partner and choose to meet every so often for a much longer period of time.

Coaching is a reflective and transformational process, as such, lightbulb moments can occur during the coaching sessions, although equally, change change can and often does happen outside the sessions after a period of reflection. The time that your coaching process will take depends on the complexity of your goals and your commitment and openness to reflective process.

Coaching is a forward looking, developmental and outcome oriented process, focussing on what's most important for you in the moment. The most common topics that coaching can help you with are...

  • Resilience
  • Growth Mindset & Personal Development
  • Conflict
  • Time Management & Prioritisation
  • Delegation
  • Feedback
  • Problem Solving
  • Vision
  • Collaboration
  • Communication
  • Emotional Coherence
  • Motivation
  • Values
  • Leadership
  • New Perspectives
  • Where do I start?
  • Career Change

Feeling stuck? Not sure where to start? Tackling obstacles, feeling compromised or just needing thinking space? If you have a future related problem to solve or goal to achieve, and you are willing to evolve and make personal and/or professional changes then coaching is absolutely for you.

Coaching will encourage you to explore your mindsets and behaviours, but it's not a 'quick fix' for any potentially damaging mindsets or behaviours, nor does it seek to identify historical causes for current behavioural patterns, and it's not there to tell you what to do or give you solutions.

If a coaching conversation feels like it's beginning to move beyond the remit of coaching, we will take a pause to assess whether a different type of intervention/provider might be more appropriate (such as therapy, counselling or consulting).

What happens in our sessions stays in our sessions and every conversation will remain confidential, unless you disclose an illegal activity or there is a risk of harm to yourself or to others, in which case we will need to have a different kind of conversation.
